David Horowitz to Newsmax TV: Trump Must Resist Attacking

President Donald Trump might be down in recent polls, but his secret to winning re-election in November is resisting the urge to attack his enemies, author David Horowitz tells Newsmax TV.

"He's just got to resist attacking everything in sight on his Twitter feed," Horowitz said Monday on "Spicer & Co."

Still, he added, when the American people are faced with a choice between "law and order and the criminals on the other side, they're going to choose law and order."

Trump has demonstrated already he wants to keep them safe, Horowitz said, with his border plan and banning travel from China early during the coronavirus pandemic.

Horowitz noted his new book, "BLITZ: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win," details the war between the Democratic Party and Trump.

"The Democratic Party, it's a criminal party; they spent three years trying to overthrow a duly elected president," he told hosts Sean Spicer and Lyndsay Keith.
