Donald Trump won two ways with the South Carolina Republican primary on Saturday — especially with rivals Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio battling for second place, political analyst Dick Morris told
Newsmax TV on Saturday.
"He has won the race and his top two challengers are tied," Morris told host J.D. Hayworth on the "Newsmax TV 2016 South Carolina Primary Special" in an interview.

Trump was projected to win the primary within 40 minutes after the polls closed in the Palmetto State.
"If they go into the final race tied, then Trump is in a perfect position, because it means that he doesn't have to win more than a third of the vote to win," Morris said.
"The key with Trump is that nobody can beat him, but you can dilute him — because somebody who is not voting for Trump is voting for somebody else," he cautioned. "Even if the field narrows, it would increase that vote.
"If it remains a split race between Cruz and Rubio, it becomes a three-way race," Morris told Hayworth. "In a three-way race, Trump has an enormous advantage."
