The reason why the email scandal facing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is such a problem is that it is really 20 potential scandals, which could end up destroying her candidacy for president in 2016, veteran political analyst Dick Morris tells Newsmax.
"The problem is that the email scandal is 20 different scandals," Morris told J.D. Hayworth and Miranda Khan on "America's Forum" on
Newsmax TV Monday.

"It's the Benghazi scandal, it's why we were in Libya in the first place, it's did those arms go to the Syrian rebels, ultimately to ISIS?" he explained.
"What was the story in terms of our dealings with Iran and our dealings with Israel?" he said.
"It puts her in the middle of the NSA scandal probably because it might indicate that she knew about all the wire intercepts," he contends. "It puts her in the middle of . . . the decision to pull out of Iraq, the decision to go against Mubarak that led to the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of Egypt."
"There are so many issues that will be exposed in these emails that will cause a frenzy over a long period of time of issues, and particularly since it is the Republicans that would control the spigot through the House Committee [on Benghazi]," he added.
"A scandal that now that would have been a '15 scandal will now become a '16 scandal, and she'll be dodging subpoenas on the way to primary night."
For that reason, Morris predicts that the email scandal "will prove very, very damaging to her candidacy."
He explained that at this point "it paralyzes her."
"She can't declare now," he said. "She can't stand up at a press conference and say, 'Hey, I'm running, give me money, vote for me,' because she be deluged with questions that her lawyers won't let her answer, and you can't get up there and say, 'I am announcing my candidacy for president. I refuse to answer any questions because they might tend to incriminate me.'"
Clinton has come under fire after The New York Times reported that she used her personal email account for official State Department business, which may be a violation of federal record keeping rules.
Morris explained that "if there's classified material in what she did, she broke a law, a serious law. If it's just 'How are you doing?' and 'What's up with the kids?' — that's not classified and it's a rule and a regulation [she broke], but it's not a law."
A pro-Clinton group and other Clinton surrogates have tried to equate the former secretary of state's use of private emails with those of
other Republican politicians and potential 2016 candidates for president, including presidential hopeful and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
However, Morris contends that the comparison doesn't hold because "the governor of Florida does not have access to classified information."
As for Clinton, "if there's classified information and you got to assume with the secretary of state, there's legions of it, that then is illegal, and it's a serious illegal."
"If there's classified emails on the server that Hillary used in her home, then she could be indicted and knocked out of the presidential race," he added.
