Donald Trump will not likely pursue making a new case against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server as secretary, but going after the Clinton Foundation might be another story, former Trump campaign adviser Sam Nunberg told Newsmax TV.
"I don't think that President-elect Trump is interested in continuing to prosecute Hillary Clinton, and I'm not so sure it's a good idea, frankly," Nunberg told hold Steve Malzberg on Thursday's "America Talks Live."
"He's got plenty on his plate, and we're trying to move the country forward. But I do think that we need to investigate the Clinton Foundation because of the foreign influences, the money taken there, and the fact of the matter is that that's an issue about actual corruption.
"If the Clintons are not held accountable for that, then it sets an extremely bad precedent for the future."

One of Trump's campaign vows was to put Clinton behind bars, a declaration that had his supporters at rallies chanting, "Lock her up."
