Hillary Clinton and her campaign ignored the advice of former President Bill Clinton she was ignoring "white working-class voters" in several key swing states, best-selling conservative author Ed Klein told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.
"Bill Clinton – not once, not twice, but repeatedly – told Hillary that she and her campaign were overlooking the white working-class voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, the Rust Belt," Klein told host Bill Tucker on Wednesday's "America Talks Live."
"That they had to pay more attention – and Hillary would say: 'No, no, no. We know what we're doing. It's all wrapped up there."
"They would not listen to Bill," he continued. "They thought he was an old fool who didn't know what he was talking about.
"He knew exactly what he was talking about."
Klein's latest book is "Guilty as Sin: Uncovering New Evidence of Corruption and How Hillary Clinton and the Democrats Derailed the FBI Investigation."

Klein told Tucker he believed the Democratic Party was "going to go even further left in 2018 and 2020 because this is where the base is pulling.
"The base is in what I would call a state of denial as far as why they lost and why they're continuing to lose.
"That magnet to the left is going to continue to draw the party over there."
