Strategic adviser for the Trump campaign Boris Epshteyn says evidence is being gathered on the Dominion Voting Systems Corp. software used to tally ballots in several states where election results are being disputed and told supporters of the president to “stand by.”
“Dominion is used in almost 30 states across the country and pretty much every battleground,” Epshteyn said on Newsmax TV’s “The Chris Salcedo Show” on Wednesday. “In the state of Arizona, where I spent time after the election overseeing some of the process that’s going on there from our perspective – the Trump campaign’s perspective, Dominion’s system is used only in Maricopa County.
“But guess what, Maricopa is the largest county in Arizona and accounts for about 70% of the vote in the state of Arizona. So, we have to get to the bottom of the Dominion issue, figure out what’s going on, and if the system is switching votes, well that throws everything into chaos.”
Former U.S. District Attorney Sidney Powell, who represents President Donald Trump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, charged on Tuesday on Newsmax TV that she has been collecting evidence to challenge the results of states using Dominion, which she said was created to allow for the rigging of elections.
She said a former Venezuelan military officer now living in the United States has signed an affidavit of overseeing rigging elections in his native country for Hugo Chavez.
“I would tell folks to stand by,” Epshteyn said. “We are working to get to the bottom of that issue and as soon as we have more information, it will be forthcoming. I know Sidney Powell has been out there talking about it a lot. And she’ll continue to do so.”
