The response by the Trump administration to Hurricane Harvey "has been amazing," Eric Trump told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"You saw how quickly, even before the storm hit, they declared it an emergency," President Donald Trump's son told "The Joe Pags Show" in an exclusive interview. "They started getting all the assets down there.
"The coordination with the state and local governments have been phenomenal."

President Trump vowed Tuesday that his administration's response to the devastation caused by Harvey would be "better than ever before."
Eric Trump especially praised the "Cajun Navy" and other volunteers who rescued stranded residents with their own boats and other water vehicles.
"More impressive than anything you see kind of — what are they calling it, the Cajun Navy? — but you see great Americans going out in force to help others in need.
"They're dropping everything and leaving their own and their own families to go rescue people," he added. "There's nothing worse than this.
"It's just the spirit of the people down there has actually been incredibly uplifting, especially in light of so much of the nonsense that we see on the streets every single day."
