Joe DiGenova to Newsmax: Wray Leaves FBI in Disgrace

By    |   Monday, 13 January 2025 05:25 PM EST

Whether or not FBI Director Christopher Wray or any member of the agency coordinated with the Biden White House in pursuit of then-2020 presidential candidate Donald Trump, at the end of the day Wray leaves in "disgrace," former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova told Newsmax on Monday.

When asked by "American Agenda" if Wray ever had contact with the Biden White House, diGenova responded, "I don't know," but "one thing is clear: Wray leaves in disgrace."

"He may have decided to get his well-thought-out message through '60 Minutes' on his departure, but in fact, there are cheers inside the FBI building as he leaves. There are no tears being shed for his departure.

"His raid on Mar-a-Lago is a moment in infamy that the bureau will never live down until a new director comes in and separates it profoundly from that disgraceful act and unconstitutional act."

Wray appeared on "60 Minutes" Sunday night. During his appearance, he said, "I haven't had any interaction with the Biden White House about investigations into the former president."
