Howie Carr: Government Shutdown Is 'Smoke and Mirrors'

Republicans are too smart to fall into another government shutdown trap over executive amnesty, Boston Herald columnist Howie Carr said Monday on Newsmax TV's “America’s Forum.”

“Exactly one person lost their job,” last time, according to Carr. “It was just strictly smoke and mirrors what they did. They tried to stop people from taking pictures on the Great Smoky Mountain throughway, they shutdown veterans' exhibits on the National Mall, that's all it was about. This is a bluff. It's not going to happen.”
