Dem Strategist Sheinkopf: Benghazi Arrest Bad News for Hillary

Tuesday, 17 June 2014 07:06 PM EDT

The arrest of 2012 Benghazi attack suspect Ahmed Abu Khattal is "not good news for Hillary Clinton," says Democratic political strategist and Newsmax contributor Hank Sheinkopf.

"Because this will keep the story going," the president of Sheinkopf Communications told "The Steve Malzaberg Show" on Newsmax TV on Tuesday. "The problem she faces is that the Benghazi thing was not going away. I was wrong, I thought it might, but it's not going away . . . just allowing the normal course of events to happen, she gets her legs cut off every day."

"There is a generational shift going on," he added. "She is older; the electorate is not as old. She is from a previous period of time, not from this time. Barack Obama's from this time, and most Americans would like him to be from no time. Therefore, she's out of time!"
