Ex-INS Agent: Latinos Actually Want Tighter Immigration

Newsmax TV's "Newsmax Now"

By    |   Wednesday, 28 June 2017 08:27 PM EDT

Latinos want stricter immigration controls to help wrangle the problem posed by the MS-13 gang, former immigration agent Michael Cutler told Newsmax TV.

During an appearance on "Newsmax Now," Cutler told host Bill Tucker he dealt with MS-13 as an INS agent and knows what they are capable of doing.

"They are killing and raping kids," Cutler said. "And most of the people being killed, by the way, are members of the Latino community. So we hear this nonsense that the Latino voter doesn't want immigration laws enforced or don't want immigration laws enforced. That's a fantasy.

"Wherever I travel, Americans irrespective of ethnicity, race, religion want the same things. To complain or make this case that Latinos want something different by definition is racism."

Cutler was also asked about dealing with illegal immigrants who have warrants out on them stemming from other crimes they have committed.

"It's important that we enforce the immigration laws for any alien who violates the laws, the immigration laws," he said.

"But don't ignore those who are 'simply violating immigration laws.' Those laws have nothing to do about race, religion, or ethnicity. It's about aliens with dangerous diseases, criminals, spies, and terrorists. Why would you want people with those situations to be able to remain in the United States?"
