Climate Writer: Clean Energy Here to Stay

James West, senior producer at the environmental news site Climate Desk, told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner on Newsmax TV on Monday that clean energy sources such as wind turbines and rooftop solar panels have passed well beyond the trial phase into everyday use in several U.S. states — while energy researcher Gail Tverberg, who blogs at Our Finite World, cautioned that such technologies are proving expensive and hard to scale up compared to oil.
