A Somali immigrant who injured 11 people at Ohio State University on Monday in a vehicle and stabbing attack before he was shot dead by police was a "jihadi" who used "the tools that are being used by other jihadis around the world," retired Army Lt. Col. Jeffrey Addicott told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"This fellow is a jihadi — and he obviously is using the tools that are being used by many other jihadis around the world," Addicott, director of the Center for Terrorism Law at St. Mary's University in Texas, told "The Joe Pags Show" in an interview.

"The cars, we've seen this happen in Israel, the knife attacks," he said. "We see it happen in Israel all the time.
"He's just taking his cues, and he is following the marching orders of ISIS," Addicott said of Abdul Razak Ali Artan, 20. "They're not directly controlling him, but they're inspiring him — as he admitted in his own media expressions.
"We need to un-inspire these idiots — and we do that by destroying ISIS," he told Pags.
"We need to bomb them out of existence — under the rule of law, of course.
"We'll follow the law of war, but we need to kill them.
"That's how you win — and that's how you un-inspire all these people that are so inspired by ISIS," Addicott said. "We rub them off the face of the Earth, as we did with the Nazis."
