Joe diGenova to Newsmax TV: 'Anonymous' Set to Be Fired

(Newsmax TV/" The Howie Carr Show")

By    |   Monday, 10 February 2020 04:44 PM EST

"Anonymous," the White House insider who penned a scathing New York Times opinion piece followed by a book claiming a group of Trump staffers are "working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations" has been identified and will be dealt with soon, former U.S. attorney Joe diGenova tells Newsmax TV.

Appearing Monday on "The Howie Carr Show," diGenova said "a very senior U.S. government foreign policy official" told him last week that the person had been identified and even gave him the name, but declined to share the identity on the air.

"I assume that this is the person who told me was correct," diGenova said, but added he did not want to share it because it would be "unfair to the person who had the opportunity to dismiss or remove this person. I want to give them the joy of announcing the removal of this traitor."
