Republicans are poised to expand their majority in the Senate and present more options for overturning and replacing Obamacare, GOP national spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany told Newsmax TV.
McEnany was on "Newsmax Now" and was asked about the death of Sen. John McCain and what that means for the future of Obamacare. McCain cast the deciding vote last year that shot down a GOP bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
"I think that we will be expanding our majority in the Senate, certainly come November," McEnany said. "There are a lot of vulnerable senators, in Florida, Missouri, Montana, and elsewhere. So I anticipate that we will have a greater number of Republican senators there who are able to push Obamacare out and put something new and better in.

"Graham-Cassidy, as you noted, was just one vote shy. Sen. McCain was the only vote that we needed to make that happen. Come next term, we will have a number of votes ready to go and we hope to have a better plan that brings down healthcare costs across the nation."
McEnany was asked what it will take for the Republican Party to pad its advantage in the Senate and House chambers in the upcoming midterms.
"If Republicans turn out, if our base turns out, I am confident we will keep the House," she said.
