Lauren Boebert to Newsmax TV: John Kerry 'Needs to Resign'

By    |   Wednesday, 28 April 2021 03:17 PM EDT

Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., told Newsmax TV on Wednesday that U.S. climate czar John Kerry “needs to resign” from his post in the Biden administration after Iran’s foreign leader claimed Kerry revealed Israeli actions inside Syria.

Boebert told "John Bachman Now" that “Besides graduating from Yale [University], traveling the world on taxpayer-funded private jets, or when he's on a commercial jet… losing two presidential campaigns. What has John Kerry actually accomplished? I didn't think it was possible, but he has even accomplished less than Joe Biden during all of his years here in the swamp. How corrupt is John Kerry? Well, [Utah Republican Sen.] Mitt Romney, America's RINO [Republican In Name Only] has come out and condemned Kerry’s actions. John Kerry has always put the Iran regime first; America last from the nuclear deal until now. His whole life he's been a sellout, and he's always happy to put America last, and he needs to resign.”

The congresswoman later said that the media isn’t covering the story.

“This is just a trend that we're seeing with the media,” Boebert said. “Obviously you pointed out with the Washington Post is doing and their tracker on actually fact-checking the president of the United States, they decided this isn’t necessary anymore, just like we saw the COVID[19] tracker and right after the Biden of regime took over America and started issuing executive orders left and right, so this is a trend that we're seeing with the fake news media.”

When asked what she’d like to ask Biden, Boebert said, “I'd really like to know: What are you doing about the crisis at the southern border? What is your vice president doing to handle the crisis in the hundreds of thousands of people coming over our border? It's putting our nation at risk making every state a border state, that is putting our law enforcement at risk and our citizens, our children.

She added, “I talked to law enforcement officers. Not only are they not allowed to do their jobs in states like Colorado, where qualified immunity is certainly threatened even on a federal level, but they're they're demonizing everything that they do, and so they aren't even allowed to properly do their jobs. Now we're allowing hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens to cross our border. And what is the president of the United States doing about that? Well, we do expect him to say some stuff about gun control tonight. We know he probably won't mention Boulder, Colorado because Boulder has some of the strictest gun laws in the country on the whole shooting narrative. There doesn't fit their preferred narrative on these types of stories. You know?”
