Michael Reagan: Foreigners 'Perplexed' at Trump's Success

By    |   Tuesday, 08 March 2016 09:38 PM EST

People in other countries are "perplexed" by Donald Trump's success in the race for the Republican presidential nomination in the United States, political commentator Michael Reagan told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

"The people I meet in different countries and from all over the world actually really are kind of perplexed by what's going on — and are perplexed by Donald Trump more so than by Ted Cruz and by having Donald Trump get to where in fact he is," Reagan told host J.D. Hayworth on Newsmax TV's "America Votes: 2016" in a telephone interview from Thailand.

"There's a lot of questions about that — and also the questions about that wall, about building the wall, about kicking Hispanics out of the United States of America. Lots of questions on that.

"How would he do something of that nature?" Reagan said. "How would he stop Muslims from coming into the United States — and is this the kind of United States that people are going to want.

"That's the kind of things they talk about."
