Democrats are two-faced over the stalling of U.S. Ambassador to Germany nominee Richard Grenell, Michael Reagan told Newsmax TV.
Reagan was on Monday's "Newsmax Now" and said the issue would be different if Democrats were in charge because Grenell is gay.
"Rich is a good friend of mine," Reagan asked. "Can you imagine what the media would be saying and the Democrats would be saying if the Republicans were holding up the nomination of a gay to be the ambassador to Germany?
"They'd be going apoplectic about this, that we are anti-gay, that's why we don't want Rich Grenell to be the ambassador to Germany."

Reagan noted there is very little discussion about the holdup of Grenell's appointment from the left side of the political aisle.
"It's like crickets out there today," he said.
It was reported last month some gay rights activists and conservative commentators are pushing for lawmakers to take up Grenell's nomination and install him in the post.
