Political commentator Michael Reagan on Monday night said Donald Trump needs to move Obamacare to the top of his list.
"Listen, my daughter in law just had a baby nine months ago, just got told that her premium is going to go to $1,000 a month starting Nov. 1," Reagan said on "Newsmax Prime" with J.D. Hayworth. "I don't know how she and my son will afford it."
Reagan, the son of President Reagan, made his comments following the announcement by the Obama administration that Obamacare premiums will increase by an average of 25 percent across the 39 states served by the healthcare market and about 1 in 5 consumers will only be able to pick plans from a single insurer.
Reagan said he thinks Trump’s campaign has been "abysmal," and that he hasn’t been a big supporter of the Republican nominee. "But you know what, I'm going to show up and vote for Donald Trump on Tuesday Nov. 8 because if we don’t, the middle class of this country will no longer exist," he said.
