Jason Miller to Newsmax TV: Polling Shows Americans Want Congress to Drop Impeachment

By    |   Monday, 11 January 2021 09:04 PM EST

New polling results from battleground states showed voters want Congress to focus on solving the COVID-19 pandemic and not the impeachment of President Donald Trump, according to Trump 2020 campaign senior adviser Jason Miller on Newsmax TV.

Miller told host Grant Stinchfield on Monday night's "Stinchfield" he had just seen poll numbers from swing states such as North Carolina, Ohio, and Iowa.

"We wanted to get a sense of where the American public was, not just where we see [Speaker] Nancy Pelosi and the mainstream media, big tech and what they're doing," Miller said. "Some really surprising numbers here. Actually, not too surprising for us, but the folks in the super woke mob it might be a little surprising.

"Seventy-seven percent of voters in battleground states wish Congress would focus on coronavirus as opposed to going and chasing impeachment and all this nonsense. Seventy-four percent say [impeachment] is very clearly politically motivated."

Miller said polling also asked voters about big tech companies, such as Twitter and Facebook, and the moves they're making to limit conservative thoughts and opinions. Both social media giants have banned Trump from their platforms since the certification of the Electoral College voting and the riot at the Capitol on Wednesday.

"Seventy-four percent of voters say, 'If they'll go and do this to the president of the United States, they're not gonna stop and they might come after you,'" Miller said. "Seventy percent of the people out there say these companies have become so big and so large, we need to take action, whether it be to break them up, whether it be to look at some antitrust type things.

"I was very relieved to see that the American people get it. They see right through the charade of the Democrats, big tech, big media, what they're doing right now trying to cancel every single person who voted for President Trump. That's good to know."

Miller said he went to do another television appearance at Liveshots in Washington, D.C., earlier Monday, when he was immediately stopped.

"I walked in and they said, 'Oh, you're on the list's COVID-related list, so we can’t let you in,'" Miller said. "I said, 'Whoa, whoa, wait a minute. I don't have COVID. It hasn't been reported I have COVID.' They said, 'Well it's because of the people you've been around. It's because you've been to the White House.'

"If you support President Trump, and you don't think all these woke mobsters are coming for you, well, guess what, you have another thing coming because they’re crazy, they’re unhinged, they're out of control and they want to cancel 75 million good Americans."
