Michael Reagan agrees with President Donald Trump, members of MS-13, a vicious criminal gang of illegal immigrants operating in California are "animals."
"He was calling MS-13 'animals,' and they are, in fact, animals," the veteran political commentator and son of former President Ronald Reagan told host Miranda Khan and John Cardillo on Thursday's "America Talks Live."
At a meeting with California leaders opposed to sanctuary-city policies, Trump said: "California's law provides safe harbor to some of the most vicious and violent offenders on Earth, like MS-13 gang members putting innocent men, women, and children at the mercy of these sadistic criminals . . . You wouldn't believe how bad these people are. These aren't people. These are animals."
Reagan said Californians are "very worried" about the sanctuary cities.
"There is great concern with who's coming into this country, and this state is really becoming the homeless capital of the world, it's becoming the MS-13 capital of the world, if you will," Reagan said.
MS-13, or "Mara Salvatrucha," began in Los Angeles in the 1980s and spread to other areas of the United States, as well as Canada, Mexico, and Central America. The group, known for their outlandish tattoos are said to traffic in drugs, humans, and weapons.
