The news media is working hard to help Democrat Hillary Clinton become president, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Monday.
During an interview on "The Joe Pags Show," on Newsmax TV, Gingrich said Clinton has the media on her side.
"None of these folks are neutral. They're all left-wingers. They're all the establishment," Gingrich said. "I tell people, it's not that they're for Hillary, they are Hillary.
"Their world depends on Hillary and that's why you get this, and I don't think she had any answer to it, the fact that on last Friday, a week ago, the three networks spent 23 minutes on an 11-year-old audio tape of Trump and 56 seconds, between all three combined … on the WikiLeaks about Hillary Clinton and her dream of a borderless western hemisphere. I mean that asserts a level of bias that no rational person can deny that the elite media is totally in the tank."

Gingrich noted that he thinks Republican Donald Trump will win the presidential election despite the media bias.
"She is the most corrupt, the most dishonest and the most dangerous person ever to get a major party nomination. So in that sense you can understand why she has a ceiling," Gingrich said of Clinton.
Regarding Trump, Gingrich said, "He has a remarkable instinct for the big issues that truly matter to America."
Gingrich is the author of a new novel, "Treason." His wife Callista also has a new children's book out, "Hail to the Chief."
