The beheading allegedly committed by an Oklahoma man at a food-processing plant was an act of terrorism, says Peter Vincent Pry, executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security.
"It was terrorism," Pry told Ed Berliner on "MidPoint" on
Newsmax TV on Monday.

"The FBI has been consistent in disappointing those of us concerned about national security by . . . calling it workplace violence," he explained.
Pry says government officials have been hesitant to call such attacks "things which are clearly acts of terrorism, like the Fort Hood shooter."
"Initially, they were resistant to call the Tsarnaev brothers terrorists, and the 2010 attempted bombing in Times Square was also not categorized as terrorism, when clearly they were," he said.
"It's even misleading to call them homegrown terrorist acts because when you're looking at the propaganda that's being put out by al-Qaida or Hezbollah or ISIS on the Internet, clearly you're being influenced by forces that are outside this country, and the ideology that you're forming is not homegrown," he contends.
"This particular gentleman that did the beheading in Oklahoma . . . did prison time and was influenced by Muslim Brotherhood in prison, which is where he converted to Islam," he added.
