Atheist, ex-Navy Chaplain Spar Over Poll on Religion in US Politics

Two veterans of America's religious culture wars, former U.S. Navy Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt and minister-turned-atheist Dan Barker of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, met on Newsmax TV Friday and, with "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner moderating, debated the meaning of a new Pew poll that points to a growing appetite for religious expression in political life.
