Political consultant Roger Stone told Newsmax TV he believes the Russia investigation is intended to put Democrat Hillary Clinton in the White House.
Stone was on Monday's "Newsmax Now" and said special counsel Robert Mueller is taking aim at the entire Trump administration.
"I really think that the Mueller investigation and the entire effort to reverse the results of the 2016 election is bent on finding some thread of Russian collusion because that would allow them to negate the election, replace both Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, and elevate [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi to the presidency," Stone said.

Pelosi "would have a vacant vice presidency, to which she could appoint the wanton criminal Hillary Clinton. And the presidency, which eluded Hillary Clinton in 2016, would be hers. Some may call that a fantasy. . . . I think that is exactly the plan."
The Mueller investigation began in May 2017 over allegations the Trump campaign partnered with the Russians to defeat Clinton in the 2016 election. No concrete evidence to prove that has been made public, but Mueller's probe continues.
Stone also spoke about the Trump Organization's effort to secure a real estate deal in Moscow. Talks on the subject took place in 2016, Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani confirmed over the weekend.
"The development of real estate in Russia is not a crime," Stone said. "Donald Trump had no guarantee that he would be elected to the presidency. Had he not been elected, it would have been perfectly legal and proper for him to attempt to develop real estate opportunities in Russia or anywhere else on the face of the globe. So, the significance is what?"
