"You're seeing people who understand that goes beyond just this one case."

On Wednesday, The New York Times reported that the Justice Department is about to close the investigation into the shooting death of Brown, an unarmed black teen, by Wilson, a white cop.

The Justice Department has declined comment, the newspaper said.

The agency is still probing the Ferguson police force in the shooting, which sparked weeks of riots, looting, and arson in the predominantly African-American suburb of St. Louis.
