The Hillary Clinton email case is plastered with lies, both from Clinton herself and even FBI director James Comey, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Wednesday.
During an appearance on the "Joe Pags Show," on Newsmax TV, Giuliani said he counted at least a dozen lies in the report about Clinton's FBI interview in July.
"She had a guy who was hammering some of the cell phones. She claimed she only had one cell phone. She had 13," Giuliani said. "They've now all disappeared in thin air. I mean she lied. There must have been at least 12 lies that I counted in that report.
"And then [Comey] goes to the fact of concluding that she was extremely careless, which makes you guilty under 18 US Code Section 791. Seven ninety-one doesn't require intent."
Giuliani, who has been campaigning for Republican Donald Trump in the presidential election, then accused Comey of lying about what the law required in order to recommend charges be brought against Clinton.
"He made it up. They have staffers for a specific reason," Giuliani said. "They don't want you to be negligent with national security information. It's not good for somebody to be negligent with it because the information is too valuable, it's too important. It can cost someone's life."
Later in the interview, Giuliani elaborated on what he said was Clinton's lying to the FBI — an agency that is taking another look at her email case in light of new evidence being discovered. The bureau is also looking into the Clinton family's foundation and whether it conducted a pay-to-play scheme.

"You know what's one of the two biggest pieces of evidence of guilty intent? It's destruction of evidence and false statements," Giuliani said. "We have massive destruction of evidence and we have numerous, numerous false statements. I had one cell phone, no you had 13 cell phones. I had no classified information on my server, no you had about 1,000 confidential that we know about. You go on and on and on, one lie after another."
