Becoming America's most watched TV host was not enough – not when America stands the risk of being overtaken by a socialist agenda – according to Fox News host Sean Hannity, speaking on Newsmax TV.
Hannity had to write a book about what the writing on the wall would be if Joe Biden were to be elected president this November.
"I know some people can live their lives and they don't have the sense of urgency – I always feel like, you know, I just have a five-alarm fire going off in my head, and my heart, my soul about this election, and it was beginning to percolate," Hannity told Thursday's "Spicer & Co."
Hannity appeared with host Sean Spicer to promote his recently released Amazon best seller "Live Free Or Die: America (and the World) on the Brink."
Hannity warned giving the government back to the left-wing agenda would exacerbate the failures of Americas cities and big government, particularly with regard to socialism and its "history of failure," which he chronicled in the book.
"If everything that Joe Biden and these radical socialists say, they will do, America becomes unrecognizable; it is predictable failure, that's the history of socialism that I'm talking about here," Hannity said. "And I'm just saying to everybody that might believe that, 'Well, what does government do well so now; tell me what they do well?'
"Because as I look at cities like New York City and Chicago and Portland and Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco: O.K., the one thing they all have in common is they have been run by liberal Democrats for decades. They're not even maintaining simple law and order. It's not safe and secure war for children in these liberal cities. It's just not."
Hannity finished with praise for Spicer, saying the media needs "more conservative voices."
