Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay said the email scandal swirling around Hillary Clinton is "classic Clinton" shenanigans — but predicts the White House and Justice Department will do nothing to investigate it.
"They're not going to look like they're dumping on Hillary," DeLay said Thursday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on

"I said many times in the last couple of days, déjà vu all over again. But I lived through all the Clinton scandals. The Vince Foster suicide, the Whitewater [scandal], Sandy Berger stealing from the archives, impeachment.
"I was the guy that was the spearhead on impeaching the president. I've had to deal with the Clintons for a very long time and this is classic Clinton."
DeLay was referring to the mysterious suicide of Foster, a deputy White House counsel to President Bill Clinton and a close friend of Hillary; the Whitewater scandal revolving around probes of the Clintons' real estate buys; and the Berger debacle, in which the White House national security adviser took classified material from the National Archives.
A New York Times report revealed Hillary Clinton, the presumed Democratic candidate in the 2016 presidential race, had used a private email account and server to conduct government business.
She later said she used two phones as a matter of convenience for her different email accounts, a decision DeLay, a former Texas congressman, dismissed.
"You can have as many email accounts as you want to particularly, if you have an iPhone like I have, but it is illegal if you're secretary of state to have a personal email and use that personal email for classified information," he said.
"One question the people aren't asking is she said she only emailed to people that had .gov emails and therefore was locked into the system. But what about emails to foreign leaders, foreign rulers and foreign ministers and people in other countries? What about those emails? Where are those?
"Surely, she had friends overseas that were at least in her contacts list that she emailed. What about those?"
