Republican Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will definitely running for president in 2016, says Sen. David Vitter, R-La., who is mulling a run for Jindal's current office.
It is "very obvious" Jindal intends to seek the nation's highest office, Vitter told
C-SPAN's "Newsmakers" on Sunday. Jindal is l
aying the groundwork now for a run, Vitter said.
Vitter would not say whether he would support Jindal.

"I like Bobby, I respect his leadership, I agree with all of his political values. But I haven't thought about what I would do or wouldn't do personally," Vitter said "I do think he’ll run. I think he’s been running. And I think he'll be a meaningful and significant candidate."
Vitter said he would expect to decide next month whether he will
seek the governor's office in 2015. Jindal cannot seek a third term. Whether Vitter runs for governor or stays in the Senate, he said it will be his final political job.
