The theory that missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 may have been commandeered to an isolated air strip on a remote island doesn't ring true, former Federal Aviation Administration safety inspector David Soucie says.
"That would be really difficult to do. That's stuff movies are made of," Soucie told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"The only islands were the Andaman Islands … and they have witnesses there that said there's nothing there."

Flight 370 has been missing since Saturday, when it took off from Kuala Lumpur and headed for Beijing.

"Why Planes Crash: An Accident Investigator Fights for Safe Skies" published by Skyhorse, says he continues to lean towards the theory the aircraft was intentionally moved off course.
"[The] radio equipment kept working.... Originally, we looked to lean more toward some kind of mechanical or electrical fire or something like that," he said.
"Well we've taken electrical system out but now with some new evidence here, I'm leaning that direction."
