Tragically, in many school boards across America, not only is teaching pornography to children considered acceptable, it's presented under the guise of "tolerance and inclusivity."
Young children are aggressively being forced to study a curriculum of sex and graphic information about sexual acts, while in the early grades of elementary school.
It’s likely that timid, compliant bureaucrats tasked with implementing these programs never anticipated the nascent yet massive parental mobilization against them now, seemingly taking place nationally.
Last year a school district in Texas was blasted by certain groups for efforts to review several potentially age-inappropriate books found in elementary school libraries, alleging that such a move was an attack on diversity.
The book that triggered the review is called "Lawn Boy," it is a tome with an innocuous sounding title.
At first blush, most people wouldn’t suspect that this book graphically depicts and promotes a graphic sex act between two boys in the fourth grade.
Real diversity should be celebrated as it is a key source of our nation's strength.
"Lawn Boy" has nothing to do with diversity and everything to do with "grooming."
Surreptitious tactics devised by some bizarre but spectacularly effective sex ed advocates would likely amaze even the most cunning criminal.
Finance and circulate dubious studies, supply them to sympathetic "interest groups" and suddenly this is "education policy."
Understandably, most parents don’t care which interest group gets what money to expose their children to filth. The dramatic events at a school board meeting in Dearborn, Michigan are serving as a clarion call for parents across the country.
Translation?
No, it's not okay to teach their young kids about sexually explicit material without parents' consent, no matter what kind of rationales are peddled.
Thankfully, there is no longer anything quiet or effective about attempting to normalize books depicting sexual acts to students not yet old enough to ride a bike.
Many parents often disagree on a host of other political issues but tend to unite when they see school boards and politicians trying to mandate teaching material that can be considered obscene at any age.
Outraged parents are going after school boards and politicians with a vengeance and this is exactly what happened at the meeting in Dearborn.
Hundreds of Christian and Muslim parents joined together to powerfully denounce sex ed curriculum for elementary school students taking over the room in unison with raucous chants of "Vote Them Out."
Recently a school district in Southern California saw fit to promote a "family friendly" Halloween themed drag show, the same event being promoted by the school district was sponsored by a local gender reassignment surgical center in San Francisco.
Enraged parents descended upon the school board meeting blasting that event.
In a video clip that has since gone viral, a parent activist named Brittany Mayer eviscerated the school board for encouraging student to participate.
"What is it about a grown man costumed in a sparkly bra with augmented boobs busting out and wearing a miniskirt barely covering his twerking a** with duct tape on his front . . . . grinding . . . next to a minor, family-friendly?" asked Mayer.
The district's response?
They removed the event from its website, claiming that it has reviewed and adjusted procedures for evaluating events in the future.
Another parent, Justin Reid noted the importance of being tolerant but questioned what any of that had to do with promoting drag queen shows to young children, "We certainly want to be an inclusive community and support groups of all kinds, but the question is where do we draw the line?"
In New York City where many students can’t afford school supplies and in which one study indicates that 55% more children go hungry, the government spends $200,000 of taxpayer money a year on drag queen story hour.
Councilwoman Vickie Paladino denounced the program and boldly said the "quiet part" out loud! "Kids deserve a quality education free from political manipulation and sexual content," said Paladino.
For a visceral real-life portrayal of what a young child is exposed to during many of these "all age" drag queen shows, please brace yourself and take a cautious look at this video posted by Sara Gonzalez of the Blaze.
While this writer doesn't think a child of any grade in elementary school needs to learn about sexual concepts, that is not and should not be this writer's decision, however it should not be a decision left to the school board or local governments either.
Any discussion about such a sensitive topic at such a young and impressionable age must be left to the parents or guardians of children.
Millions of parents are realizing what is going on and aren’t going to take it anymore.
Teaching pornography to children is wrong.
Dearborn is just the beginning of the end for inappropriate (sexual) topics being taught to our nation's children.
