Sanctuary Cities Endanger All Americans

Beloved nursing student Laken Riley would be alive today if not for the invasion at our Southern Border.

For decades, Americans have been force-fed an utterly false, and imbecilic premise, that "no person is illegal."

Laken’s alleged murderer, Jose Antonio Ibarra arrived in the United States illegally in 2022, he was released from a detention center due to overcrowding — the Biden administration policy of permitting millions of people to enter our country unlawfully in a couple of years will do that. In August of 2023, Ibarra was arrested for child endangerment in New York City and released.

We should all be proud to call America a nation of immigrants, whether your parents arrived here (legally) last week, or can trace their descent to the arrival of the Mayflower, in November of 1620, immigrants help our country flourish.

It's a strength that we should celebrate, but before we can do that, we must roundly reject the astonishingly well-organized, yet venal machination to lump in all immigrants with "illegal immigrants."

Immigrants generally play by the rules, assimilate, and tend to make positive contributions to society.

Illegal immigrants rely on our government; many commit unspeakable crimes.

As a nation we all mourn losing a beautiful soul like Laken.

We also can’t help but remember the horrific fate of 32-year-old Kate Steinle, and how this amazing young woman also forfeited her life as "collateral damage" for the weirdos who genuinely believe that we shouldn't have a southern border at all.

Kate Steinle and her father were walking along a San Francisco pier on July 1, 2015, when a gun went off striking Kate in the back and killing her almost instantly.

Kate’s Father attended to her as she gasped for air pleading with him "help me dad."

The gun was discharged by an illegal immigrant, Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, previously deported five times.

Prior to Kate’s death, Zarate had been transferred to a San Francisco jail to face drug charges.

The drug charges were dismissed, of course.

Federal immigration authorities requested that the Sheriff’s Office hold Zarate for two more days so that they could deport him.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, this request was denied pursuant to the "Sanctuary City" policy of San Francisco.

Zarate was released.

Kate Steinle paid with her life soon thereafter.

Even though Zarate admitted to firing the weapon, he was acquitted of murder charges and was eventually sentenced to "time served" on gun charges.

"Kate’s Law" which would mandate longer jail sentences for illegal immigrants convicted of serious crimes, passed the United States House of Representatives in 2017 with the support of U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and 23 other Democrats.

It has stalled in the U.S. Senate.

Perhaps some of the useful idiots in the leadership of the Republican Senate Conference can pressure their Democratic colleagues into passing Kate’s Law instead of literally haggling over how many thousands of illegal immigrants should be allowed into our country daily, while figuring how out the number of H1-B1 Visas they could sneak into the same legislation without anyone noticing.

Almost half a million illegal immigrants are living freely in the United States after having been convicted of crimes.

Alonso Pierre Mingo, is a man previously employed by UPS, having also been detained by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and released.

A few weeks ago, Mingo (disguised as a delivery worker) allegedly forced his way into a home and brutally executed a woman, her husband, and her son, in front of two small children both under the age of five.

The entire incident was captured on video.

Why did ICE previously detain Mingo?

Did it have something to do with his preceding five felony convictions, ranging from battery-assault to various but serious weapons charges including stealing a Glock handgun.

Take a look at this executive order signed by the late former New York City Mayor Ed Koch in 1989.

No sane municipal government wants to deal with a scenario where someone performing their civic duty is deported for calling 911 or intervening to help a victim; this would only discourage people from reporting crimes, many of which take place in immigrant communities.

Original sanctuary city policies were meant to protect Good Samaritans; they were never meant to shield dangerous criminals from deportation.

Many Americans are justifiably terrified of being targeted by the woke mob dominating public policy in most of our major cities.

Yet we have no choice, we need to join together and demand that municipalities immediately terminate their sanctuary city policies.

Sadly, Laken Riley is not the first and will not be the last murder victim.

Americans must gain the courage to fight back against deviant elites who casually expect us to welcome this bloody mayhem as an incidental cost to transforming America.
