President Joe Biden's promise to be "tough on Russia" appears to have lasted all of four months.

Biden's pledge to hold the Kremlin accountable is on shaky ground after his administration announced it would waive sanctions on the corporate entity and CEO in charge of constructing the controversial Russia-Germany gas pipeline Nord Stream 2.
