Florida Republicans’ frustration boiled over Tuesday after a series of election snafus in Broward County left pundits speculating over the fate of Supervisor of Elections Dr. Brenda Snipes.
The bitter irony for Republicans: Snipes was appointed to serve as acting supervisor of elections by GOP former Gov. Jeb Bush, in November 2003. She was subsequently elected to four-year terms in 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016.
