Brent Bozell, president of the conservative Media Research Center watchdog group, is warning Twitter's ban on political advertising will be used to "suppress conservative speech."

Bozell has emerged as a major critic of the new Twitter policy. In a CNSNews.com column he co-authored with Newsbusters.org executive editor Tim Graham, he writes: "We have seen how the social media giants have used their content policies to suppress conservative speech. By restricting ads, Twitter can further limit the ability of conservatives to get their message heard."
