While the controversial film "Conclave" garnered a Golden Globe on Jan. 5, critics, including well-known commentator Megyn Kelly, have blasted the acclaimed 2024 movie as "anti-Catholic."

The mystery thriller, which was nominated for six Golden Globes including Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor, is based on the ancient and secretive process of selecting a new pope. Set inside the halls of the Vatican, it features the character of Cardinal Lawrence enveloped by the powerful religious leaders around him while uncovering a trail of deep secrets that could shake the bedrock of the Roman Catholic Church.
