US Winning the Battle as Virus Curve Gets Flatter, Study Shows

A new University of Washington analysis based on COVID-19 deaths rather than infections indicates the United States is flattening the pandemic's infection curve due to social distancing, just as health officials hoped.

Researchers add that if the nation faithfully continues the current lockdown into early June, the primary wave of COVID-19 infections will be over.
