Progressive Criminal Justice Reforms 'Inspiring Another Crime Wave'

While activists pushing criminal justice reform insist policing and prosecutorial changes must be made to end policies that are purportedly overly punitive and racist, experts say there is a big disconnect between these narratives and reality.

During a recent crime and justice event hosted by The Heritage Foundation, a Washington, D.C.-based conservative think tank, two criminal justice experts refuted what they termed as "myths" about mass incarceration and over-policing.
