Democrats Keep Pushing PRO Act Despite Deflating Amazon Union Vote

Democrats were dealt a crushing blow earlier this month when workers employed by corporate behemoth Amazon voted — overwhelmingly — against unionizing their Alabama warehouse.

The much-anticipated vote was a letdown for congressional Democrats and President Joe Biden, both of whom hoped to use the formation of a union as a means to gain support for a proposed labor overhaul known as the PRO Act.
