United Airlines Flight 93 was 46 minutes into its six-hour journey from Newark to San Francisco when four terrorists wearing red bandanas and wielding knives charged up the aisle and battered down the cockpit door.

First Officer LeRoy Homer screamed: "Mayday! Mayday! Get out of here! Get out of here! Get out of here!"
