The Department of Health and Human Services' new pronoun policy weaponizes language in the workplace, violates employees' First Amendment rights, and is nothing more than a progressive "speech code," legal experts contend.

Roger Severino, The Heritage Foundation's vice president for domestic policy and the former head of civil rights at HHS during the Trump administration, began raising concerns about the problematic policy on social media platform X.
