Iran Could Launch EMP Attack 'in a Few Months,' Woolsey Warns

Iran’s vow to subject Americans to a “historic nightmare” has caught the attention of national security officials, who are reconsidering potential U.S. vulnerabilities across the board.

Although both sides appear to be stepping back from direct conflict for the time being, some national-security experts think they may know the nightmare scenario Iranian leaders were envisioning: Detonation of a low-yield nuclear weapon to create an electro-magnetic pulse that would take down the U.S. electrical grid.
