While it is "disappointing" former president George W. Bush will not publicly stand for conservatism against Joe Biden, there is something to be said for a former president avoiding campaign endorsements, according to Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union, on Newsmax TV.
"President Bush and his father before him, when he left office, they really wanted to leave the stage; I think it's admirable," Schlapp told Thursday's "Greg Kelly Reports." "They served their time, and now they want to get out of politics.
