Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax TV on Monday that President Donald Trump had a right under the U.S. Constitution to "not to be impeached or to be tried" in the Senate because House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., "can't have it both ways."

"They have to make up their mind," the Harvard Law School professor emeritus told "John Tabacco's Liquid Lunch" in an interview. "They can't have it both ways."
