Pro-life leaders nationwide are rolling out a unique political strategy for the midterm elections they say could help Republicans hold on to the Senate and narrowly avoid a humiliating "shellacking" in November.

It is an approach so traditional many political strategists seem to have forgotten it altogether: door-to-door canvassing at the precinct level, with an army of volunteers knocking on doors to talk about issues that matter to voters.
