Religious Freedoms at Risk Under Biden

Religious leaders and religious liberties advocates are fearful that a Biden administration will undo strides the Trump administration made in granting and expanding religious freedoms in the United States and globally.

Trump spent his time in office putting forth policy that embraced and expanded upon religious freedoms. He was praised by religious groups for reversing Obama-era policies that blocked religious organizations from receiving federal disaster relief and required employers to provide free birth control to employees. Now, many say those advancements in protecting religious liberties are potentially at risk under a Biden administration.
