SCOTUS Case Threatens US-Wide Removal of Christian Memorials

Now that the U.S. Supreme Court has heard oral arguments in American Legion vs. American Humanist Society, attention has shifted to how the Court’s ruling on the case could impact the future of all U.S. monuments featuring crosses.

The Washington Post reports the justices appear to be seeking a narrow legal ground for allowing the cross to stand, without opening the door to government endorsement of religion generally.
