Conservative analysts say the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to second-guess the administration on adding a citizenship question to the 2020 Census may signal yet another setback to the long-thwarted dream of establishing a reliably conservative high court voting bloc to defend the Constitution.

Census forms must be printed well in advance of the survey; the ruling will likely keep the question of citizenship off the forms.
