The Trump administration's early pledge to revive and expand America's atrophied shipbuilding capacity has slipped to the back burner, even as China's naval power continues to grow in the Pacific, according to Heritage Foundation senior fellow Brent Sadler.
In April, President Donald Trump signed an executive order calling for the revitalization of the U.S. industrial base and the domestic shipbuilding industry.
